Independent music & ideas for all.

Community Radio St. Louis (CRSTL) is dedicated to building community and supporting culture through the power of independent music, ideas, and information. We believe in free-form programming that transcends the mainstream, informs the public, and expands the experiences of our international audience.

CRSTL is owned and operated by the League of Volunteer Enthusiasts (LOVE) of Community Radio STL, a 501c3 nonprofit organization registered in the state of Missouri. Powered by over 70 volunteer hosts, programmers, and DJs, we stream live from the Lindenwood Park Place Social Club in the City of St. Louis.

Underwriting is a unique way to support the grassroots mission of Community Radio St. Louis. Underwriting is not advertising. Underwriting allows your business or organization to get the word out about its services and products. These messages identify the businesses as supporters and provide contact information to our audience.

Through underwriting, businesses get the opportunity for civic participation. They reach our dedicated audience in St. Louis and beyond. The CRSTL listeners, wherever they are, appreciate and support businesses and organizations that support this community.

Opera Review: "That infernal nonsense 'Pinafore'" gets a handsome setting by Winter Opera

I don’t know about you, but I could sure use some good laughs right about now. Fortunately, Winter Opera is serving up a heaping helping of them this weekend (Friday and Sunday, November 8 and 10) with a jolly good production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “H.M.S.
